Top 10 places to pick up quality women by Charles Carmichael
This article is intended for those a little bit older, but it can apply to men of all ages. These are the top 10 places to find women in situations that are very conducive to striking up conversation and, most importantly, appearing interesting to women. You’ll notice that there is no mention of bars or other stereotypically cheesy or worse, creepy methods. Women are creatures that have been taught to be overly cautious when it comes to being approached by men. They need to be in a comfortable setting. Only then will they let their guard down and be open to meeting someone. Each of these places and situations are such comfortable settings.
- Cooking class
Now I’m not making the assumption that all women like to cook, but the women that do attend a cooking either love to cook or are very interested in learning. Also, it is known that women find men that know how to cook EXTREMELY attractive. The tactile nature of cooking presents a number of opportunities to talk to women as well. - Book Club
Ah, this one is for the smart girls in the crowd (at least those that can read). First of all, book clubs are primarily for women so if you join one, then the odds are that you will be one of the only men in the club. Also, this is a chance for you to flex your smarts. Women find intelligent men attractive. - Work
There is no greater interest to be shared other than work. People spend most of their time at work and the people they spend most of their time with are at work. There are tons of opportunities for harmless flirting as well as showing how great you are to others. Just be careful of not going too far with the threat of sexual harassment. - Gym
The gym is a little bit trickier. It’s still a place where you share similar interests, but approaching a woman and striking up a conversation can be a bit difficult. But if you can, then chances are it’ll turn into something. - Social Organization Events
The whole purpose of social organizations is to mix and mingle with others. This is a perfect opportunity to meet women. The whole reason they’re there is to socialize so that barrier is gone. - Charitable Fundraising Events
Members of charitable giving organizations, by definition, share an interest that is very important to them. In these events, you can speak to the higher calling that brings you together. Also, some women that attend these events don’t know how to talk about it with others. You could be a welcome ear. - Grocery Store
This one is about as difficult as the gym, but it can be done. At the grocery store, it is critical that you take cues from the woman. If you catch her looking at you in a way that pleases her, then you could Make Your move. Even then, the conversation has to start with some grocery-related. One suggestion would be to ask for her opinion on something. - Political Rally/Event
If you’re not a political person, then this one won’t work. If you are, then you’re golden. Men are involved in politics all the time. When women get involved enough to attend a rally, they are very passionate. That passion can carry over to you by sharing an interest in her politics. - Church
I am not an overly religious person, but I do acknowledge the power of meeting a woman in church. This helps show your intentions are admirable, you have good moral fabric, and it really helps with the parents. Also, chances are the woman is of good stock as well. - Traveling
When women travel (or “backpacking” as it is) through Europe or other countries, their goal is to break out of their shell and experience new things and new “people”. You will find that beautiful women who wouldn’t look twice at you will find you very interesting while traveling. Also, if you have a country whose women you’d like to meet, you can make that choice while traveling. Personally, my favorite is Australian women.
However you choose to meet women, remember that they are most open when their guard is down. Their guard is down when they are most comfortable. Find that setting that works best for you, but please don’t decide that place is a bar.
